Hi friend,

If you are in the thick of perinatal depression or anxiety…

If you are a mother with ADHD…

If you feel mentally, physically, or emotionally maxed out — welcome. You are in the right place. 🤍

I have been where you are many times. And if I’m honest, many days I am still walking it with you. The hardest part is the isolation. Depression has a way of convincing you that you are alone in your struggle.

That is why I began this blog and my Instagram, @the.adhd.catholic.mom.

Because when you are striving to follow God’s will in your vocation, your mental health deserves care just as much as your physical and spiritual health.

For much of my first decade of motherhood, I struggled to find that kind of integrated support. I didn't feel understood, and without understanding I struggled to know how to grow and heal.

We are called to be open to life within our marriages. But what does that look like when a mother carries mental and emotional crosses? How do we discern responsibility, capacity, and grace in seasons of real psychological strain?

These aren’t easy questions. And they don’t always have neat, simple answers. But they're worth talking about, and I'm looking forward to doing that with you - I’m grateful you’re here!

Pax, Mama 🤍
